Julia is the Secretary of the Willowell Board. Her daughter, Lyra, spent two wonderful years at Wren’s Nest Forest Preschool, where she thrived under the care of the talented and dedicated educators. The whole family was so inspired by the experience that they felt compelled to support Willowell’s mission of providing these enriching educational opportunities to more children. In her professional life, Julia teaches environmental and climate change economics at Middlebury College and conducts research on human-environment interactions. Outside of academia, she’s a dancer, knitter, music lover, chef, and, from time to time, a triathlete.
